Integrity: October Virtue of the Month

“My Family” is the Meadows school theme for the second week of school in October for all levels.

All the students had so much fun doing hands-on activities focused on the importance and value of family life. Please be on the look-out for artwork and completed activities in your child’s take-home folder. We also have a few homework assignments– so thank you for spending time with your child in helping complete them. They are really learning a lot in the classroom, and the lessons are reinforced when you work with your child at home.

The October Virtue of the Month is Integrity. What is integrity? It means being consistent in our thoughts, values, methods, principles, and expectations.  More importantly, it is being truthful and honest in one’s actions. The character education story is “The Boy Who Cried Wolf” by Aesop. To reinforce what was taught and learned in school, you can watch a video of this story on YouTube with your child at home.
