Celebrating Love

“Loving Others on Valentine’s Day” was our special theme last week and we capped it with a Valentine’s Day party on Friday with our friends and teachers. What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than to see everyone show their love in so many ways!

Parents came to class to spend the day with their child. Thank you to everyone who brought yummy brownies, homemade cupcakes, crackers, juice boxes, cookies and strawberries! Thank you also to Brazil’s mom for reading “Happy Valentine’s Day Curious George” to the students. It was a joy to see students give sweets and chocolates to their teachers and friends. We also had fun playing thematic games like finding heart-shaped objects hidden in the confetti sensory table, and tossing bean bags into heart-shaped cookie cutters. And each class had special treats to eat for snack time!

It was such a festive and magical holiday watching everyone dressed in pink, red, and white and having a fun day celebrating not just love but all of life’s blessings! Check out these photos from the party.
