Fun at the Zoo!

“Animal Habitats” was our school theme last week and we got to go to the Columbus Zoo last Wednesday!

Students in the morning academic program participated in a talk entitled “The Three Bears: Brown Bear, Black Bear, and White Polar Bear.” They listened to Mr. Barry read the story, “Bear Wants More” by Karma Wilson, saw huge brown bears and white polar bears, and discovered so many interesting facts about bears!

In the afternoon, the Kindergarten class enjoyed their scavenger hunt at the zoo. They saw a sun bear, tigers, elephants, manatees, alligators, flamingos, penguins and more.

A few photos of the fun and educational day are up on our Flickr photostream.
