We’re having a lot fun this summer! The kids listened to these read-alouds “Pete the Cat: Walking In My School Shoes, “Pooh’s Grand Summer Adventure,” and “My K Book.”
We talked about the fun things we do in the summer like making new friends and enjoying the outdoors. We also sang some songs as a group. We started to walk and read a K story called “I like to see my keys.”
Some younger kids are adjusting to their new summer class and getting more comfortable. We combine the younger and older age groups during group play and circle time activities. Some painted some crafts, did bubbles, played with sidewalk chalk, played soccer, enjoyed the garden and had some good laughs. The children are learning to play together and communicate to one another as a big family. It’s such a great bunch of kids!
We’re going to miss Richard and Seck-Hyun who will be going back to Korea this Sunday. Have a safe trip!
