Harvest Party and Costume Parade

Our school theme last week was Family Traditions and we had such great fun at the Harvest Party and Costume Parade!

Thank you everyone for taking the time to bring fresh fruit, mini-muffins, fish crackers, bottled water, juice boxes, crackers, cheese, and mini-donuts to the Harvest Party last Wednesday! Thank you too to all the moms and dads who volunteered and spent the day with us!

All the children enjoyed the costume parade around the big room while waving and smiling to their parents. We had such a wonderful time during all the stations. The first station was “Story Time and Games” where we played poke a pumpkin, pass the pumpkin, and pin the broom. The second station was “Arts and Crafts” and the children created beautiful orange and black windsock lanterns. The third station was “Music Time” and we sang “The More You Get Together” and other fun tunes.

What a memorable day! View some photos on Flickr.
