A Fall Harvest of Shapes

In Reading, students listened to several read-alouds including “Clifford’s Thanksgiving Visit” by Norman Bridwell; “My Five Senses” by Margaret Miller; and “Achoo! Good Manners for Animals and Children” by Mij Kelly.

In Nursery Rhymes, early preschoolers listened to “Little Pilgrim”, “Hello, Mr. Turkey” and the “Hokey Pokey”.

In Language, early preschoolers learned about the Letter K. They made a Kangaroo K Craft and painted kites, in addition to making paper plate turkeys and turkey with feathers on a popsicle stick.

In Math, early preschoolers continued to learn counting up to 10 and sang “Ten Little Fingers”. We also read the book “Pick A Circle, Gather Squares: A Fall Harvest of Shapes” by Felicia Sanzari Chernesky and Susan Swan.

In Virtue of the Month, early preschoolers listened to “I Can Do It Myself” by Valorie Fisher and “I Have Manners” by David Parker. They learned the words, “please” and “thank you”.
