In Reading last week, we listened to several read-alouds, like we always do, such as “Exploring the Seashore National Geographic Picture Book,” “Ten in the Bed CD Book,” and “Five Little Ducks” by Pamela Paparone.
In Nursery Rhymes, we sang the Ten Little Fingers; Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes; and the Hokey Pokey.
In Language, early preschoolers learned about the Letter J. They made a Letter J for Jaguar Craft, Jellyfish Painting, Jellyfish handprints, and a Jellyfish popsicle stick puppet.
In Math, we reviewed all the basic shapes: circle, square, triangle, rectangle, diamond, oval, pentagon and octagon. Students pasted 6 purple diamonds in their Math Journal.
In Virtue of the Month, we continued to talk about the virtue of fortitude which means doing your best and not giving up.
