What a fun Frozen Day the other Friday! Queen Elsa of Arendelle came for a visit to the sheer delight of the young princes and princesses at Meadows Academy. The royal celebration was filled with lots of fun activities including decorating over 40 gingerbread houses with delicious vanilla icing, tiny marshmallows, fruit loops, and sprinkles. We each also made our very own Olaf craft come alive! Storytime was magical as Queen Elsa narrated to everyone her wonderful adventures with her sister and best buddy Princess Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf from Disney’s “Frozen” story.
The children then joined Queen Elsa at the “Royal Hall” for the grand “Sing Along Time”. Music filled the room as everyone sang with all their hearts familiar, heartwarming songs like “Let It Go,” “Do You Want to Build A Snowman?,” “Love Is An Open Door,” “For the First Time in Forever,” and “In Summer.” Her message for all of us was “love is stronger than hate.” She reminded all the young princes and princesses of what Olaf said, “An act of true love will thaw a frozen heart.”
