Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!

We are celebrating National Read Across America Week for the first two weeks of March. We will be reading and studying all about Dr. Seuss (aka Theodor Geisel), whose birthday falls on March 2, which has been designated as National Read Across America Day.

Good children’s books represent a secret door, and Dr. Seuss understood the magic of reading– how great stories escape the page and how children’s imaginations grow when they’re transported to different worlds. We have lots of fun activities in store over the next 2 weeks as we celebrate reading with all students!
