Meadows Academy was founded as a preschool in Dublin, Ohio in 2008 with the simple goal of advancing children’s intellectual growth and academic achievement, while nurturing in them the right habits and attitudes necessary to live fuller lives. After 5 fruitful years, we are now looking to expand and bring our unique and proven approach to early childhood education and character formation to families in neighboring communities. We are currently evaluating opportunities in the Columbus metropolitan area specifically Delaware, Gahanna, Hilliard, Lewis Center, Marysville, Powell, and Westerville. Come grow with us!
The ideal Meadows Academy franchisee is someone who shares in our mission and is deeply committed to making it a reality day after day. Our calling is to help students attending the school grow in knowledge, build skills, and develop the right habits and attitudes to become well balanced, responsible, and competent adults. We also believe in our partnership with parents to reinforce the values they teach their children at home: as partners, we work with and support parents in their important task of fostering the intellectual, moral, and spiritual lives of their children.
The success of the school is highly dependent upon a franchise owner who is involved in all aspects of running and managing a school from the very start. As owner-director, each franchise owner is expected to be onsite everyday working with his/her team of teachers and staff to ensure that programs are implemented and the quality of education remains high. Given such a teamwork setting, a background in early childhood education would be advantageous but not necessary.
What you are in love with, what seizes your imagination, will affect everything. It will decide what will get you out of bed in the morning, what you will do with your evenings, how you will spend your weekends, what you read, who you know, what breaks your heart, and what amazes you with joy and gratitude. Fall in love, stay in love, and it will decide everything. (Pedro Arrupe, S.J.)
If you would like to join us in this great adventure of nourishing young minds and fostering the growth of virtues in children, we’d love to hear from you.
